The S-20 submarine is a conventional submarine launched by China based on the Type 039B submarine technology. The size of the submarine is 66 meters long, 8 meters wide, and 8.2 meters high. The surface displacement is 1,850 tons, and the underwater displacement is 2,300 tons. The speed can reach 18 knots, and the maximum range can reach 8,000 nautical miles at a speed of 16 knots. The submarine adopts an advanced integrated sonar system and is equipped with six 533 mm torpedo tubes, which can launch torpedoes, anti-ship missiles, etc., and can also be used to lay mines.
