K-8 Training Aircraft

The K-8 trainer aircraft (Chinese code name: K-8, English: Hongdu K-8, former code name: Jiao-8, L-8) was developed by China Aviation Industry Hongdu Aircraft Industry Corporation (code name: 320 factory) Subsonic turbofan jet trainer.
The K-8 trainer adopts the layout of air intake on both sides, tandem cockpit, single wing with medium aspect ratio, normal tail and three-point landing gear.
The K-8 trainer aircraft was designed in July 1987, and the prototype aircraft was manufactured in January 1989. A total of 5 aircraft were manufactured (3 for flight test and 2 for static test). The K-8 trainer aircraft is China's first model to transfer aircraft design and manufacturing technology to foreign countries, and it has been exported to more than 10 countries including Pakistan, Egypt, and Myanmar.
