SC-CLS 300 series small size uncooled LWIR module is shutterless core features in that it adopts algorithm simulated "silent shutter" to accomplish the NUC (non-uniformity Correction) process, which is necessary to keep the sensor uniformity during usage. The shutterless technology not only keeps lower power consumption, but also avoids any noises and "frozen" of image at the events from mechanical shuttering. It is applicable to different scenarios, such as handheld, drone (UAV)… thermal imaging devices. Thanks to our patented NUC technology, there is almost no requirements to our customer to do a 2^nd time calibration during the camera life-span.

LWIR cameras (Long Wave Infrared Cameras) are capable of imaging light in the spectral range 8 to 14 µm. Longwave infrared cameras, often called "thermal cameras" or "thermal infrared cameras," are capable of imaging the heat emitted by the object itself and therefore can provide temperature information when calibrated for a given range. In this case, we are referring to thermal imaging or radiometric cameras.
