MWIR Cooled Thermal Dual Spectrum PTZ System SC-MCP400

Silent Sentinel offers long-range cooled thermal cameras with lens options up to 960mm. Our mid-wave infrared (MWIR) cameras use a highly sensitive InSb-cooled MWIR FPA with a 15μm pixel size and 640px x 512px resolution.

MWIR cameras (also known as cooled thermal cameras) can detect small targets at extremely long distances, making them ideal for long-range applications in adverse weather conditions.

Mid-wave infrared (MWIR) is a subdivision of the infrared band of the electromagnetic spectrum that captures infrared energy in the 3 to 5-micron long-wave infrared (LWIR) spectrum.

Combining these multiple sensors allows for accurate detection, identification, and targeting of potential threats. Active deterrents such as LRADs, spotlights, and laser dazzlers can also be integrated to ensure threats are not only detected but mitigated. Sentry's reinforced aluminum construction and rugged IP66 housing with anti-corrosion coating allow it to withstand the harshest climates, providing reliable perimeter security, mobile/marine vessels, homeland defense, and coastal protection.
